When I first came through the gate more than ten years ago, I knew this home was something special. Over time, it became the place where family and friends naturally gathered, for pool parties, holidays, celebrations, and quiet evenings under the stars. The front yard and pool have always felt like a private retreat, a space that brings people together and instantly puts you at ease.

What I’ve loved just as much is the sense of community. The neighbors here truly look out for one another, and the neighborhood continues to evolve while keeping its character. One of my favorite parts of living here has been the ability to walk to downtown Oakland Park — enjoying festivals, art walks, and the ever-growing culinary scene that makes this area feel alive and connected.

Over the years, hosting guests has also created unexpected friendships. Welcoming people from different places and sharing this home with them has been incredibly rewarding and is something I’ll always cherish.

This next chapter is a bittersweet one. As I reach retirement, I’m ready to travel more and spend time visiting some of the many friends who have passed through my life here. Letting go of this home isn’t easy, but I’m excited for someone new to create their own memories in a place that has given me so many.
